<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical compensation plate which is excellent in light resistance and heat resistance and is suitable for miniaturization. <P>SOLUTION: The optical compensation plate (200) comprises a first crystal plate (201) and a second crystal plate (202) each of which has one surface arranged facing each other and contains a positive uniaxial crystal. A first optical axis (L1), which is an optical axis of the positive uniaxial crystal in the first crystal plate, obliquely leans toward one surface of the first crystal plate. A second optical axis (L2), which is the optical axis of the positive uniaxial crystal in the second crystal plate, intersects the first optical axis (L1) when seen from a normal line direction of one surface of the first crystal plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
