<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which can switch the supply source of power to a load side over from a transmission side to a construction power side, with a power source for construction equipment being secured and besides without a breaker operating. <P>SOLUTION: A temporary power feeder for construction includes a connection means for breaking or connecting the distribution line from a transmission side and the distribution line on a load side, constituted of a bypass means, a switching means, and a transformer. The bypass means has a first grip means which couples with the distribution line from the transmission side, a second grip means which couples with the distribution line on the load side, and a disconnector which is wired to the first grip means and the second grip means and is used for the connection means to connect the distribution line on transmission side with the distribution line on the load side in a connection state and breaks the line when an operation order is made. The switching means has a first terminal which is connected with the transmission line on the transmission side, the second terminal which is connected with the transmission line from a construction power source and a third terminal which is connected with the distribution line on the load side and switches the first terminal and the second terminal and connects either to the above third terminal.
