PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picking system, in which work can be performed efficiently. SOLUTION: The picking system 1 is provided with an article storage means 2 where articles are stored, and an article carrying means 3 in which the articles are directly placed on a carrying surface 3a to be carried by the unit of order. The article carrying means 3 is provided with a plurality of guide members changeable between a stand-by state to keep the article stand-by as it is directly placed on a placement surface 20 after it is taken from the article storage means 2, and a guide state to guide the article on the placement surface 20 to the carrying surface 3a of the article carrying means 3.
