PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage and breakage due to contact of an FPC with a corner edge of a movable chassis by guiding a cable by a piece for protection added to a sheet metal as a weight for damping. SOLUTION: An optical pickup 40 runs within an opened window 21 of the movable chassis 20 of a frame shape, and the FPC 50 drawn from the optical pickup 40 faces the opened window 21. The weight 70 for damping is mounted on a rear edge 23 of the movable chassis 20 which moves close and away according to the running of the optical pickup 40. The weight 70 is formed by the sheet metal, and on the sheet metal, the piece for protection 71 which covers the corner edge 22 inside the rear edge 23 of the movable chassis 20 is formed by bending in almost a right angle.
