PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a module device capable of automatically recognizing not only an electronic component but also a machine component. SOLUTION: A plurality of module ID forming terminals 33 provided on a camera module 8 are connected to an IO power supply terminal (VDD IO) for supplying IO power or a ground terminal (GND), respectively so as to form a module ID of the camera module 8. Furthermore, a plurality of LSIID forming terminals 34 provided on the camera module 8 are connected to the IO power supply terminal (VDD IO) or the ground terminal (GND), respectively so as to form an LSIID of a camera DSP provided on the camera module 8. During ID recognition, IO power is supplied via the IO power supply terminal, and a module ID selector 31 and an LSIID selector 32 output, via data terminals D0 to D7, the module ID appearing on each of the module ID forming terminals 33 and the LSIID appearing on each of the LSIID forming terminals 34.
