PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a PCR plate stuck fast to a metal block from the metal block by a force smaller than a conventional one and to prevent a solution from scattering during the removal. SOLUTION: The apparatus for handling a vessel has a Peltier element 12 for generating heat to react a solution in each of test tubes 9 of the PCR plate 8 and the metal block 11 to be stuck fast to the PCR plate 8 so as to transfer heat generated from the Peltier element 12 to the test tubes 9. The apparatus has a separation mechanism 23 for releasing adhesion between the PCR plate 8 and the metal block 11. The separation mechanism 23 releases the adhesion between the PCR plate 8 and the metal block 11 in the order from the test tube 9 positioned at the end of the PCR plate 8 to the test tubes 9 positioned inside.
