A size adjustable washable nappy ( 1,201 ) having a crotch portion which extends between the legs of a wearer and a waistband portion which wraps around the wearer's waist. The nappy ( 1,201 ) comprises two side panels ( 3,5 ) and a central panel ( 7 ) each forming part of the waistband portion and part of the crotch portion. The side panels ( 3,5 ) are each provided with releasable attachment means for selective attachment to the other side panel or to the central panel.
