A bend type upper body exercise device is provided to relax a stiff back muscle through repetitive stretching exercise, to correct the curved backbone through sit-up exercise. A bend type upper body exercise device for correcting the backbone and relaxing the back muscle includes: a curved upper body exercise unit(10); and head stands or hip stands(11) which are formed at both sides of the curved upper body exercise unit to support user's head part or hip. When a user lies in the curved upper body exercise unit, the back of the upper body and the backbone are curved as the curved shape of the curved upper body exercise unit.
