<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus which enable the adjustment of the shape of an article to be packaged during horizontal sealing and prevents biting the horizontal sealing caused by rebounding to a product in a vertical bag manufacturing, filling and packaging machine. <P>SOLUTION: In the vertical bag manufacturing, filling and packaging machine, a horizontal seal starting position can be adjusted at an arbitrary height. In addition, in the vertical bag manufacturing, filling and packaging machine being an intermittently operating type, a two-stage vertical sealing operation in which after horizontal sealing which stops descending of a film for a definite time, the horizontal sealing is continued even while the descending operation of the film is performed, and during descending operation of the film, the next article to be packaged is dropped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
