<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brake device that generates a desired braking force even if caliper rigidity is changed in the electric brake device that estimates a thrust force of a pressing member from the rotation position of an electric motor. <P>SOLUTION: The electric brake device is composed of a caliper 16, which is provided with an electric motor 15 and in which a pressing member 24 for pressing brake pads 13, 14 against a disk rotor 11 is driven by the electric motor 15, and a control means 32 that calculates a pressing-force command value of the brake pads 13, 14 by the pressing member 24 corresponding to a braking instruction signal so as to control the electric motor 15 on the basis of the pressing-force command value. The control means 32 has a caliper rigidity estimation means that estimates rigidity of the caliper 16 corresponding to the frequency that the pressing member 24 presses the brake pads 13, 14 while estimating a thrust force of the pressing member 24 from the rotation position of the electric motor 15 so as to change the pressing-force command value of the brake pads 13, 14 calculated by the braking instruction signal corresponding to the rigidity estimation result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
