<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored composition for color filter which improves oblique visibility while retaining the high contrast characteristics of a color filter, a color filter and a liquid crystal display device using this color filter. <P>SOLUTION: The colored composition for color filter is prepared by adding a retardation regulator to a transparent resin and a pigment. By using this colored composition, it is made possible to provide a color filter having a small retardation difference for each color. In addition, by using the colored composition, it is made possible to provide a colored layer having a high contrast of ≥3,000 and a color filter having a contrast ratio C/CS of >0.45. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
