PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply circuit that will not produce excessive voltage boosting process period, due to a voltage-boosting circuit. SOLUTION: The power supply circuit includes a saturation detecting circuit 16, which detects the voltage input from a battery 11 by a regulator 13 and the voltage output to a drive stage 14 by the regulator 13 and determines whether the voltage to be output to the drive stage 14 by the regulator 13 is saturated, relative to the voltage to be input from the battery 11 by the regulator 13; and a boosting control circuit, which changes a switch 15 for inputting the voltage output by the battery 11 into the regulator 13 so as to input the voltage output by a booster circuit 12, when the voltage output to the driving stage is determined as being saturated by the saturation detecting circuit 16.
