PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a remote controller that allows easy and appropriate attachment/detachment of a remote controller body to/from a mounting plate and is suitable for temporarily fixing the remote controller body to the mounting plate, while having a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The mounting structure for a remote controller is provided with a mounting plate 3 mounted onto a desired wall face 9, a remote controller body 1, and a recessed groove part 33 for engageable insertion provided in the mounting plate 3. A hole part 34 is provided in one of the remote controller body 1 or the mounting plate 3, and a protrusion 13 is provided on the other of the remote controller body and the mounting plate. The protrusion can be inserted into the hole part 34, in a state in which a part of the outer peripheral edge of the remote controller body 1 is engagingly inserted into the recessed groove part 33 for engaging insertion; the protrusion 13 has elasticity so that its diameter or its width is expandable/contractible; and when the protrusion 13 is fitted into the hole part 34, its outer peripheral face is brought into pressure contact with the edge part of the hole part 34 due to compression deformation of the protrusion 13.
