PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a karaoke device which displays a background image for enlivening performance when performing karaoke. SOLUTION: The background image 102 which is displayed in a backside layer of a text image 104 in a performance image 106, is changed according to elements of a performance music piece which is output in parallel, by an image display control means 90. Thereby, when any performance music piece is performed, the performance image 106 is displayed including the background image 102 which changes by linking to the performance music piece, and a sense of unity of the performance music piece and the performance image 106 etc. is obtained.
