PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric box and a cooling storage having the electric box facilitating connection work while suppressing sticking of dust or the like to a connection part between an electric box side coupler and a lead wire side coupler. SOLUTION: The electric box 39 stores electric components 45 inside an outer case 40, and an external lead wire 48 is connected to the electric box. The electric box comprises the electric box side coupler 47 to which the lead wire side coupler 49 mounted to the tip of the lead wire 48 is detachably connected, and a coupler storage part 44 constituted in the outer case 40. The electric box side coupler 47 is selectively placed in a stored state in which the coupler is located in the coupler storage part 44, and an exposed state in which the coupler is exposed to the outside of the coupler storage part 44. In the stored state, the electric box side coupler 47 and the lead wire side coupler 49 connected thereto are retractably enclosed in the coupler storage part 44. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
