PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a padded mattress which is lightweight, compact, collapsible, and convenient for storage. SOLUTION: This mattress includes a plurality of bags (1a to 1c, 2a to 2c), each bag containing a cushion material therein, which is vertically aligned to constitute collapsible mattress portions (1 and 2) that are removably connected with wider pads (3 and 4) along one side of each. The mattress portions are placed next to each other in such a manner that their pad connections face outside. The mattress portions (1 and 2) are joined together by putting their pads on top of one another on the front side of the mattress, or by covering the front side of the mattress with at least one pad and the back side with the rest of the pads.
