PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laundry drier capable of smoothly discharging dew condensation water stuck to an evaporator surface to the outside by a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The washing and drying machine W which includes a housing chamber 7 for housing objects to be dried (objects to be washed) and executes the drying operation of the objects to be dried inside the housing chamber 7 comprises: a refrigerant circuit composed by successively and annularly piping and connecting a compressor 11, a heat radiator 12, a pressure reduction device such as an expansion valve 14 and the evaporator 16; an air route 20 for delivering air heat-exchanged with the heat radiator 12 into the housing chamber 17 by a fan 17 as a blowing means and heat-exchanging the air through the housing chamber 7 with the evaporator 16; and a dew condensation water discharge means 50 communicating with the air route 20 for discharging the dew condensation water stuck to the surface of the evaporator 16 to the outside. The dew condensation water discharge means 50 includes a means for making a pressure inside the air route 20 at a communication part communicating with the air route 20 higher than the atmospheric pressure.
