PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood bag for examination having good operability at during the collection of blood (collection of initial flow blood) and capable of certainly collecting a necessary amount of blood (initial flow blood), and to provide a blood collecting appliance. SOLUTION: This initial flow blood bag 20 is equipped with a bag-like bag main body 21 for storing initial flow blood, the blood inflow port 24 provided to the upper end part of the bag main body 21 to introduce the initial flow blood into the bag main body 21, the sampling port 71 provided to the lower end part of the bag main body 21 to collect the initial flow blood stored in the bag main body 21, a partition part 26 for partitioning the inside of the bag main body 21 into a blood storage region 231 being a downstream part and an air storage region 232 being the upstream part and the communication part 27 for allowing the blood storage region 231 and the air storage region 232 to communicate with each other. The end part on the downstream side of the blood inflow port 24 is arranged almost at the same position as the partition part 26 or at the position below the partition part 26 in a vertical direction.
