PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape diaper capable of preventing the leak of urine from a waist opening part and excellent in the fitness to the periphery of the waist. SOLUTION: The tape diaper 1 is constituted of the respective parts of the front body 2, a crotch part 4 and the back body 6 and has an absorber 22, a top sheet 18, a back sheet 20, fastening tape 10, and a waist peripheral stretchable material 42. The material 42 is arranged on the back side of the absorber 22 in the back body 6 so that the end edge 42a on the side of the back body 6 of the waist peripheral stretchable material 42 and the end edge 22a on the side of the back body 6 of the absorber 22 is set at the same position or the end edge 42a on the side of the back body 6 of the waist peripheral stretchable material 42 is set on the side of the crotch part 4 on the end edge 22a on the side of the back body 6 of the absorber 22 and at least a part in the width direction X of the waist peripheral stretchable material 42 is overlapped with the absorber 22.
