PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To seal both a top face and a bottom face of a box by inserting an inserting flap from a slit when vegetables or the like are boxed, and to prevent the damage of merchandise by the inserting flap. SOLUTION: In a corrugated fiberboard-made packaging box for storing the vegetables or the like, a flap for forming a top plate and a flap for forming a bottom plate are respectively extended from each pair of long side plates and short side plates, and the inserting flap is formed at the corner part at the end of a long face flap among the flap for forming the top plate and the flap for forming the bottom plate. On the other hand, a sheath part is formed with a width face flap, and a pair of slits for insertion are cut in the sheath part, and by inserting the flap into a space in the sheath part from the slit for insertion, the top face or the bottom face is sealed, and the content is prevented from being damaged by the inserting flap.
