PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sunshade device capable of securing an occupant's view while securing a light shielding effect and sound insulating properties. SOLUTION: The sunshade device 10 comprises a light shielding member 12 for shielding light from windows of a vehicle. The light shielding member 12 composed of a sheet member 13 is characterized by an opaque area dotted with a plurality of transparent areas or translucent areas. The opaque area is formed by the coloring, printing, transferring, or pasting of a masking member 24. The transparent areas or the translucent areas are formed to be shapes of windows in the opaque area. It is preferable that the transparent areas or the translucent areas should be formed to make the light shielding rate of the light shielding member 12 from 50% or higher to 70% or lower. It is preferable that the sheet member 13 should be composed of an olefin sheet or a vinyl chloride sheet having a thickness of 0.5 mm or larger. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
