The sealing device (12) has a housing (22), and a sealing range (24) is provided, which is arranged in the housing. The sealing device has an agent for keeping the sealing range at a moderate temperature, where the agent are formed such that the viscosity is variable in the sealing range such that the sealing effect of the fluid is increased. The agent for keeping the sealing range at a moderate temperature comprises a running channel for supplying a heat distribution medium fluid to the housing. The agent has an inlet for feeding and an outlet for discharging heat distribution medium fluid.
