<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind power generator making cut-out control more accurately by monitoring the presence or absence of abnormality with respect to the values measured by an anemometer than a conventional wind power generator. <P>SOLUTION: This wind power generator is provided with: a main shaft connected with a rotor head 4 attaching a windmill blade 5 to a nacelle 3 installed on a support column and rotating integrally with them; a set-up gear 10 for increasing rotational speed of the main shaft and outputting it; a power generator 11 driven by outputs of the set-up gear 10; and a control part 20 for carrying out the cut-out control when strong wind blows and the value measured by the anemometer 7 exceeds a predetermined value. The control part 20 determines that the anemometer in abnormality if a difference exceeding a predetermined value occurs between an inferred wind velocity value obtained based on the relation between a blade pitch angle of the windmill blade 5 and output of the power generator 11, and the value measured by the anemometer 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
