<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical catheter by which operation to insert a guide wire into the catheter before inserting it into a patient is omitted to enable one-person-operation and its container. <P>SOLUTION: From the distal end on the catheter 1, a guide part 4, a viewing part 16, and a balloon setting part 21 are set in that order. The viewing part 16 is configured so that a state inside the body tube 2 can be confirmed by viewing and observation using X-ray. Inside the lumen set ranging from the proximal part of the catheter 1 to the viewing part 16, a guide wire 20 is preliminarily inserted.
