<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To normally operate a constant current booster circuit for supplying a load with the voltage of a power supply battery while boosting when the battery voltage is high, and to save current consumption when the battery voltage is low. <P>SOLUTION: In the constant current booster circuit 11 for supplying a load with the voltage of a power supply battery while boosting, a dummy load is connected in series with the load 12 when the battery voltage is higher than a predetermined voltage which is set based on the operating voltage of the load 12, otherwise a switching portion 18 for short-circuiting the dummy load is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
