PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "communication apparatus" capable of easily performing wireless communication with an external device. SOLUTION: A navigation system 100 as a communication apparatus includes: a nose movable arm 104 which is movable in an extension direction; a rotary shaft 110 corresponding to the first predetermined position of the relevant nose movable arm 104; a nose part 106 which is rotatably mounted on the rotary shaft 110 and rotates around the rotary shaft 110 with movement of the nose movable arm 104; a rotary shaft 112 corresponding to the first predetermined position of the nose movable arm 104; and a directional antenna 108 which is rotatably mounted on the rotary shaft 112 and rotates around the rotary shaft 112 when the nose part 106 is rotated.
