<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exposure apparatus in which the relative positions of a reflection mirror and an image carrier are not varied even when temperature varies and to provide an image forming apparatus equipped with the exposure apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The exposure apparatus (15) is provided with: a rotating polygon mirror (44) which deflects and scans scanning light output from a light source (42) toward a predetermined scanning direction; and a unit main body (30) with a reflection mirror (48) which reflects the deflected and scanned scanning light at a predetermined reflection point and makes the light incident to the image carrier (18). The unit main body has mounting and fixing points (60, 62 and 63) at which the unit main body is fixed to the apparatus main body (2) on a substantially one line connecting reflection points; and mounting and supporting parts (70, 72 and 73) at which the unit main body is supported on the apparatus main body being allowed to freely expand in a flat plane direction including the scanning direction of the rotating polygon mirror with respect to the mounting side of the rotating polygon mirror. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
