PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mesh model deformation technique, capable of deforming as desired a mesh model by parametrically specifying a deformation amount of the mesh model. SOLUTION: This system comprises: specifying a deformation type and a division area for a mesh model displayed on a display device 22 to generate a handle setting a deformation range; calculating center-of-gravity coordinates of an apex of the mesh model present in the closed area of the handle; shifting an apex of a virtual handle in response to an input of a deformation amount parameter numeric value; and deforming the mesh model by a specified size so as to display a deformation result on the display device by recalculating the center-of-gravity coordinates of the apex of the mesh model in conjunction with the movement of the apex of the virtual handle.
