PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant applying device for image forming apparatus suppressing the scattering of foreign matters from a lubricant applying device, to provide a process cartridge using the lubricant applying device for image forming apparatus, and to provide an image forming apparatus comprising the process cartridge. SOLUTION: An edge part 6c of a side plate 6a is extended for closure from a tip part of a cleaning blade 2 to an edge part 7b of an application blade 7 and, further, a clearance 62 is formed between a side edge 1b of a photoreceptor surface 1a and the edge part 61 of the side plate 6a. Therefore, the scattering of foreign matters T made of fine powder stored between the cleaning blade 2 and a lubricant uniform application blade 7 to the shaft direction of a photoreceptor 1 due to wind force or the like during the rotation of the photoreceptor 1 is suppressed.
