GROOVING METHOD BY WATER JET, HEAT EXCHANGER MEMBER AND HEAT EXCHANGER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grooving method by water jet capable of working a deep groove an aspect ratio (aspect ratio of groove) of which is 1 or more and uniform in depth of a complicated shape in a short period of time. SOLUTION: An end part of the worked groove in the moving direction of an jet nozzle 11 is formed on the inside of an outline of an end surface of a working member W while shooting a water jet 11a from the jet nozzle 11, a protection member 12 having more resistance against jetting force of the water jet 11a than the working member W to cover a working surface of the working member W while shooting the water jet 11a from the jet nozzle 11 is grooved while maintaining a prescribed distance with the jet nozzle 11 and retreating it and the shooting of the water jet 11a is stopped and controlled by moving the protection member 12 to a position to cut off the jet nozzle 11 and the working surface at a position to stop grooving in the grooving method by the water jet in which an abrasive is mixed.
