PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refill container replacing type staple cartridge to facilitate removal of a refill container. SOLUTION: A revolving fulcrum of an upper cover 33 is arranged on a front part of a base frame 32 in which the refill container 21 is charged, and a rear part of the upper cover is made to tip up to open. A claw is formed on an inner surface of a back surface part of the upper cover, and this claw is engaged with a hole of a lock plate 27 on a back surface of the refill container and fixed in a closed state. The refill container is removed from the staple cartridge by one operation and replacing of the refill container is extremely simplified as the lock plate revolves to the front, locking of the refill container against the base frame is released and simultaneously, locking of the upper cover against the refill container is released, when a knob part 28 of the refill container is pulled up.
