PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cut slag removing device for a slab, which is applicable to any sectional shape of the slab even when the shape is quadrilateral or not, and has a structure for easy maintenance, and is capable of removing cut slag of the slab even when the slab is not conveyed in a predetermined positional relationship with respect to the cut slag removing device. SOLUTION: The cut slag removing device 1 for the slab comprises a multi-needle chisel bundle 2 opposing a deposition part of cut slag 15 of the slab 14, a hammer 4 for hitting the multi-needle chisel bundle 2, a reciprocating mechanism 5 for reciprocating the hammer, and a casing 6 housing the multi-needle chisel bundle, the hammer and the reciprocating mechanism.
