PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine enhancing a game player's interest caused by transition to a special game state. SOLUTION: A CPU 41a operates a regular bonus simultaneously with transition to a big bonus, and during the big bonus, it is determined game by game whether or not the regular bonus is active. When the regular bonus is determined to be inactive, again the regular bonus is operated, whereby during the operation of the big bonus, the machine is always controlled to the regular bonus.
