A method for translating from a first language to a second language, includes the selecting a category for the translation; selecting a theme for said translation based on the selected category; selecting a key phrase based upon a subject of the sentence to be translated; selecting a first follow phrase related to the key phrase and corresponding to a predicate of the sentence or part thereof and selecting subsequent follow phrases to complete the sentence as necessary.
