<p>A blood pressure meter having determination means (12) for determining whether or not the pressure of a cuff at the time point when a predetermined time is elapsed after the start of pressurizing of the cuff exceeds a standard value determined based on a power source voltage. If not exceeding, blood pressure measurement is discontinued, assuming that the cuff is not yet installed or is loosely wrapped. The determination means (12) has standard value calculation means (21), standard value storage means (22), and comparison means (23). The standard value calculation means (21) obtains a standard value by referring to a standard value setting table and based on a power source voltage value measure by power source voltage value measurement means. The standard value storage means (22) stores the standard value obtained by the standard value calculation means (21). The comparison means (23) compares between the standard value stored in the standard value storage means (22) and the pressure of the cuff detected by pressure detection means.</p> |
