<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell stack having a structure in which a desired temperature difference between electrodes is easily created. <P>SOLUTION: Each of fuel cells 8 composing a fuel cell stack is arranged so that same poles of neighboring fuel cells may face each other. An insulator 10 is arranged between anode side current collectors 4 of the neighboring fuel cells 8. An insulator 20 is arranged between cathode side current collectors 6 of the neighboring fuel cells 8. Furthermore, a coolant passage 12 is arranged between the anode side current collectors 4 of the neighboring fuel cells 8. And, a coolant passage 22 is arranged between the cathode side current collectors 6 of the neighboring fuel cells 8. Moreover, the current collectors 4, 6 of each of the fuel cells 8 are connected in series with the current collectors 4, 6 of other fuel cells 8 by an external circuit 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
