PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latent heat storage material composition which exhibits high durability and high reliability, and can repeat heat storage and heat radiation stably without causing phase separation or supercooling phenomenon even when a cycle of from melting to solidification is repeated for a long period of time, and to provide a method for producing the latent heat storage material composition with ease. SOLUTION: This latent heat storage material composition comprises a latent heat storage substance as a main component, a filament palygorskite as an essential component, and if required, a melting point regulator and/or a supercooling inhibitor. The latent heat storage material composition is characterized in that no phase separation of the composition is observed after the predetermined cycle test of from melting to solidification over a long period of time.
