PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable adjustment of the assembly length of a punch of a punching die for which the assembly length of the punch is made adjustable, without using tools and without detaching a retainer from a punch guide. SOLUTION: The retainer 2 which is connected freely attachably and detachably to the punch guide 1 is constituted of a first member 2-1 and a second member 2-2 which are connected so as to be relatively rotatable and not to be relatively movable in the axial direction, wherein the first member 2-1 and the second member 2-2 are connected to the punch guide 1 and a case 6 respectively, a lock pin 11 which can be operated from the outside and a key 13 are provided on the first member 2-1, a pin hole 12 with which the lock pin is engaged so as to be freely taken out and put into on the second member 2-2 and a key way 14 on which the key 13 is engaged so as to be freely slidable on the outer periphery of a punch body 3 respectively.
