PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity of a target substance by effectively destroying foamy layer formed upon cell culture without causing damage to a cultured cell. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a culture tank capable of filling culture fluid for culturing cell, a first air diffusion means of supplying a bubble into the culture fluid filled in the culture tank, a second air diffusion means of supplying into the culture fluid filled in the culture tank a bubble having a larger diameter than that of the bubble supplied through the first means, and at least a controlling means of controlling the supply of the bubble supplied through the second air diffusion means.
