PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cooling structure which improves the cooling effect of a transformer housed in a panel in use. SOLUTION: In the cooling structure of the transformer, the transformer 2 having an iron core and a coil wound around the iron core is housed in a duct 4 arranged in a cabinet constituting a power panel, with its axis line being perpendicular to the bottom face of the cabinet, and in which the transformer 2 is cooled by blasting cooling wind in the duct 4. The structure is also composed so that a side cooling fan 14 is installed in the side of the duct 4 while it is opposed to the side of the coil of the transformer 2, and that a bottom face cooling fan 15 is installed in the bottom face of the duct 4 so as to make the cooling wind flow on the rear side of the transformer 2 viewed from the side cooling fan 14 in a direction perpendicular to the bottom face of the cabinet.
