PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the limit load in a mechanism in which a shaft cannot be moved unless force exceeding the limit load is applied to the shaft by a shaft and a coil spring wound around the shaft by applying a special structure to the shafts and to a case for storing the shafts, and as a result, to reduce the size of the device itself. SOLUTION: In the rotating shaft structure with the limit load, the coil spring having an inner diameter of a roll diameter smaller than the outer diameters of the first shaft and/or second shaft is wound around the relatively rotatable first and second shafts to generate diameter contraction force in the coil spring. By frictional force caused by the diameter contraction force, rotation is restricted unless a load exceeding the limit load is applied to either of the first shaft and the second shaft. Pressing force is generated by pressing the coil spring toward the first shaft and/or second shaft by outer force. The frictional force is increased by the pressing force being added to the diameter contraction force, and the limit load is increased. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
