PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catch basin which makes an upper lid surely fixed to an upper opening of a catch basin body, and which prevents the expansion and deformation of the catch basin body. SOLUTION: In this catch basin 1, an upward-opened opening 23 for inserting a drain pipe is formed on the backside 22 of the catch basin body 2 with the upper opening 21, and the upper lid 3 is fitted and attached into the upper opening 21. Engaging holes 4 are drilled in upper portions on both the sides of the opening 23 on the backside 22 of the catch basin body 2, respectively. An engaging protrusion piece 5 for being locked into the engaging hole 4 is provided in a suspended manner at the lower end of the upper lid 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
