PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device constructed simply for giving high degree of orientation to long and thin wood chips laminated on a laminating surface. SOLUTION: The device is constructed with a rotating transporting means 10 equipped with a rotating shaft 11 and a plurality of wing plates 12 whose edge part 13 is elongated in radial direction in such a way as to draw a concentric circle from the rotating shaft 11 and a supporting means (hopper) 2 for supplying wood strand (wood chip) P to a reception part 15 which is set forth on an upper part of the rotating transporting means 10 among the wing plates adjacent to the rotating transporting means 10. Preferably a slant guiding plate 5 whose lower end is in a front forwarding direction of rotation of the rotating transporting means 10 is arranged in parallel to the rotating shaft 11 in an area between the rotating transporting means 10 and a laminating surface 21 at lower part thereof into which the wood strand P stored in the reception part 15 of the rotating transporting means 10. The wood strand P is oriented by moving on the wing plate 12 upon falling down from the reception part 15. Further, the wood strand P is fallen on the laminating surface 21 without damaging the orientation by passing through the slant guiding plate 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
