摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device in which a stable intermissive characteristic can be obtained in a differential limiting mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The power transmission device 1 is equipped with a differential mechanism which performs distribution from an input member to a pair of output members, a differential limiting mechanism 11 which limits differential rotation of the differential mechanism, a transducing mechanism 17 which is arranged between the differential mechanism and the differential limiting mechanism 11 and includes a hollow shaft 13 that is coupled to the input member of the differential mechanism and branches drive power to transmit the drive power branched and a case 15 that supports the hollow shaft 13, and a drive shaft 19 whose one end penetrates a shaft center of the hollow shaft 13 to be coupled to one of the output members of the differential mechanism and whose other end protrudes outside the case 15. In the power transmission device, the differential limiting mechanism 11 is equipped with a clutch hub 21 which is coupled to the outer circumference of the drive shaft 19 and is supported thereto; a clutch housing 23 and a rotor clutch 25 which are coupled to the hollow shaft 13 and are supported by the outer circumference of the clutch hub 21, and a multi-disc clutch 27 arranged between the clutch hub 21 and the clutch housing 23, the rotor clutch 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p>
