<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic laser therapy apparatus which achieves selective laser trabeculoplasty with a laser source emitting a continuous wave and having no Q switch structure. <P>SOLUTION: A lighting time of a semiconductor laser provided in the laser source 70 is controlled by a control section 80 and a time of irradiation with a laser beam is controlled as a result. Also by controlling an opening/closing time of a safety shutter 74 driven by a shutter driving device 72 in place of lighting control of the semiconductor laser, the time of irradiation with the laser beam can be controlled. Controlling the laser source 70 by the control section 80 causes the laser beam to be pulsed. An irradiation optical unit 40 is provided with a mechanism for moving a zoom lens 42 to an optical axis L following rotation of a spot size adjustment knob 10 and can change the spot size of the laser beam from 50 to 1,000μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
