<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet folding device capable of accurately positioning stacked bundles of sheets in a following stitching position or a folding position without a jam of sheets and incorrect collating when stacking sheets. <P>SOLUTION: When stacking sheets from an image forming device in a folding route, a sheet carry-in position, a stapling position and a sheet folding position are arranged in this order. The folding route is provided with a switch-back approach path so that a rear end of the stacked sheets and a tip of a carried-in sheet are overlapped with each other in the sheet carry-in position. A sheet tip regulating means is arranged in the route to freely adjust position thereof, and the regulating means controls the sheets so as to be positioned in the overlap position, the stitching position and the folding position in this order. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
