PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation control unit capable of appropriately controlling the output power of an AC generator so as to stabilize the rotational speed of an engine even if any abnormal conditions occur in a transmission line with the AC generator.
SOLUTION: A regulator 20 adjusts field current flowing in a rotor coil 12 so as to cause the output voltage of an alternator 10 to be an adjusted voltage. The regulator 20 has two types of adjusted voltages. Further, the regulator 20 includes: a software switching function for switching the adjusted voltage based on an external input signal; a hardware switching function for switching the adjusted voltage without depending on the external input signal; a function for outputting an FR signal indicating the field current (a signal transmitted through an FR signal line 82); and a function for making the hardware switching function ineffective/effective depending on whether an FR1 terminal is connected to an FR2 terminal or not. When the FR1 terminal is not connected to the FR2 terminal, an ECU 50 stops the output of a C signal as the external input signal (a signal transmitted through a C signal line 86).
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
|
