<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing MnZn-based ferrite enabling to reduce magnetic loss of ferrite. <P>SOLUTION: The MnZn ferrite powder is prepared by weighing individual raw material components comprising 54 mol% Fe<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 37 mol% MnO and 9 mol% ZnO as main components in a prescribed manner, dry blending them, and calcining at a temperature of 900°C. Also iron oxide and cobalt oxide are weighed so as to be a composition of cobalt ferrite as a sub-component, which is calcined at 900°C after mixing. Then the resultant powder is pulverized by a ball mill to prepare a cobalt ferrite powder. The cobalt ferrite powder is added to the MnZn ferrite powder by 0.18 wt.% and at the same time prescribed amount each of TiO<SB>2</SB>, CaCO<SB>3</SB>, SiO<SB>2</SB>, ZrO<SB>2</SB>and Nb<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>, and the mixture is wet pulverized, formed and fired. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
