PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus advantageous in terms of improvement of its durability, without being influenced by vibrations and impacts. SOLUTION: An image blur correcting device 40 includes a lens-holding frame 44, a support mechanism 46, a detection part, an actuator 48, an actuator drive part 126 and a lock mechanism 50. The locking mechanism 50 switches between a lock state where the lens-holding frame 44 is made immovable and a release state where the lock state is released. The locking mechanism 50 is equipped with a locking member 72 and an energizing member. The locking member 72 is locked in the lens-holding frame 44, whereby the lock state is formed.
