PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the error rate of data and to improve retransmission efficiency. SOLUTION: In the communication method in the mobile communication system capable of executing the simultaneous transmission of a plurality of data streams by a MIMO system from the transmission station having a plurality of antennas to a reception station having a plurality of antennas, the transmission station switches the mode of simultaneously transmitting the plurality of data streams to the reception station by the MIMO system using the plurality of antennas to the retransmission mode of transmitting the data streams of the same contents from each of the plurality of antennas.
